My Best Friend "Max"

     I started “ OurHome-DogBoarding” after putting Max in a kennel for a few days. I came back to a traumatized and sick pet. I vowed never to step foot out of South Jersey if it meant putting Max in a kennel again.  

    I had a house with a large fenced-in yard and the idea of home dog boarding for extra income occurred to me. I passed out some flyers and Steven & Max’s Dog Boarding was born. We loved it! Dogs of every size, breed, and personality came through our door. Soon after, I was turning dogs away. That was when I recruited a network of dog lovers in the Delaware Valley that would enjoy pet sitting in their homes.

        I looked for experienced dog owners with pet safe homes and fenced-in yards. They had to be stay-at-home folks---either retired or people who worked from home. 

       We encourage new customers to visit the homes we’ve selected. Once the customer is comfortable with the host, we then book the reservation. We do our best to assign the same provider for subsequent visits. 

      We are mindful of the personalities of the pets when we put them together. We limit the number of dogs per host. We are also careful to place the pet with an appropriate pet provider. Since we're a network, if we can't place your pet with the same provider, there will be another suitable host available. It’s a win, win situation- for you, your pet, and the host. You and your pet will make a new friend and you can leave knowing that “OurHome-DogBoarding" is looking after your best friend. ENJOY YOUR VACATION-YOUR PETS WILL ENJOY THEIRS!
